Rootsman Choice 4: Dubrising Family feat. Jahnko, Natty Milh e Sis Red Dub @ SNIA (aprile 2009).

“Invitare parte della Dubrising Family a esibirsi a Roma è stato, oltre che un piacere e un onore, anche una bellissima occasione di cementare i rapporti tra due collettivi che sono mossi dalla stessa passione per la musica e dagli stessi ideali. Ma non solo. Superfluo sottolineare che Jahnko, Natty Milh e Sis Red Dub rappresentano un pezzo significativo della sound system culture salentina, dai suoi albori fino alle ultime session odierne. Per questo la loro session a SNIA rappresentava per noi anche un modo per comunicare alla yard romana la profondità delle nostre radici: volevamo condividere con Roma, insomma, parte del nostro percorso musicale attraverso il calore di un collettivo come Dubrising composto, come noi, da più realtà unite tra loro. E il risultato fu una serata esplosiva, con Sis Red Dub per l’occasione anche selecter (a lei è dedicato il primo quarto d’ora di selezione), i pezzoni della celebre collezione di Jahnko The Roots Ambassador che andavano uno dietro l’altro (nel secondo quarto d’ora) e il superbo toasting di Natty Milh che dall’inizio alla fine ha dato voce e anima facendo impazzire la yard. Per ora accontentatevi di mezzora di selezione e di queste poche righe: nonappena possibile questa, così come tutte le altre session targate Roots Impulse Line Up, verranno messe in download gratuito su questo sito”.
